Created by Community Rehabilitation Providers (CRPs) just like yours, who value the work that you do in the community and strive to develop successful vocational outcomes for our clients in the Commonwealth, KACRP is organized as a 501(c)6 nonprofit agency based in Kentucky. As a membership-based, trade organization, our efforts will be focused on advocating and lobbying for greater CRP representation and visibility within our field, more financial resources and technical support, and a seat at the table for decisions that impact the ability to serve clients more efficiently and create greater sustainability for provider agencies.
Our mission is to provide representation and growth to CRPs, which will mutually benefit our organizations, partners, and clients. We will highlight the valuable work that we collectively do, allowing for greater opportunity for existing CRPs to thrive, and attracting new professionals and providers to the currently underserved Commonwealth. Our goals are to advocate for maximized provider capacity, increased efficiency, and decreased barriers to serving our consumers. We will focus on internal issues such as empowerment and mentorship of existing agencies, as well as external concerns, including field innovation and systems reform.
KACRP has been developed by proven leaders with combined experience of over 100 years in the disability field. Our current leadership team includes CRP executives who have both professional and personal experience with disability. While some may find our founding team an unlikely match, we know that we are stronger together, and that agencies big and small are facing similar barriers while trying to provide our clients greater independence, including Competitive, Integrated Employment. At KACRP, your voice will be heard and issues will be tackled with the dignity and respect that your agencies, and our consumers, deserve.
We strive to keep the lines of communication open with our Members. Have a question about us, or a suggestion on how to better meet the needs of our clients or an innovative idea you'd like addressed? Send us a message, or give us a call. We're always happy to chat!
